Marina specialises in advising clients from the automotive and commercial property industries in court and arbitration proceedings, as well as in out-of-court dispute settlements. She also advises clients in M&A transactions and in cases rated to environmental law. Marina has broad experience in jurisdictional disputes and in the establishment, restructuring and liquidation of commercial companies, share sales and ongoing legal services for corporate clients. She also has great experience in the area of immigration law, particularly in matters related to legalisation of stay, issuance of visas and invitations.
At Rö, Marina heads the team that advises entities from Eastern Europe in disputes involving Poland. She is also involved in representing the Europejski Hotel in arbitration proceedings related to errors in the redevelopment design of the hotel. Her recent achievements include co-leading strategic litigation of ClientEarth, a Polish branch of the British multinational environmental law organization, against greenwashing practices related to the sale of the so-called eco-pea.
A native of Kyiv, Marina studied in the Department of International Law at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In Poland she graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Lazarski University and completed postgraduate studies in property valuation at the Warsaw University of Technology. In 2018 Marina was one of 30 lawyers nominated for the Rising Stars Lawyers Award from the Polish newspaper Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
She is recognized in both Polish and international rankings, including The Legal 500 (Key Lawyer in Construction and Dispute Resolution) and the Ranking of Law Firms by the Polish Rzeczpospolita daily (Recommended Lawyer in Environmental Law and Property Law).
Marina is a member of Warsaw Bar Association.
