Professor Tomasz Giaro, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the UW.

Habilitated at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the UW (1988). Fellow of the Humboldt Foundation in Bonn (1984-85), employee of the Max-Planck-Institut für Europäische Rechtsge-schichte in Frankfurt am Main (1990-2006), contract professor in Frankfurt (1994-95) and in Berlin (Freie Universität 1996), lecturer in Giessen

(1999-2000), visiting professor in Katowice (2006-08). He received the title of professor in 2009 and in 2011. Award of the Foundation for Polish Science.

Since 2016, he has been Dean of the UW’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
